Who This Website Is For
Choosing a counsellor or clinical supervisor is a deeply personal decision. This website exists to help you sense whether the way I work — my values, my pace, and my approach — feels right for you. Clarity matters. Not every therapist or supervisor is the right fit for every person, and that’s not a failure — it’s a sign of ethical practice. This page is here to gently and honestly outline who this space is for, and who it may not be, so you can make an informed, grounded choice.
This website is for you if you’re looking for professional, ethical, and compassionate counselling or clinical supervision, grounded in experience and real human connection.
You may be someone who:
Values warmth, integrity, and relational depth
Wants therapy or supervision that feels thoughtful rather than rushed
Is tired of surface-level approaches and quick fixes
Wants to be met with respect, curiosity, and emotional safety
Understands that meaningful change happens over time, not on demand
You may be navigating anxiety, trauma, shame, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, or simply a sense of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan — we work things out together, at your pace.
For helping professionals, this space is for those who want reflective, ethical clinical supervision that supports both professional practice and personal wellbeing.
What You’re Probably Tired Of
Many people who arrive here are quietly exhausted by experiences that haven’t quite fit.
You may be tired of:
Being given advice that doesn’t reflect the complexity of your life
Feeling analysed, managed, or rushed toward solutions
Being told what you should feel or do
Therapy that feels overly clinical, detached, or transactional
Having to perform progress
You may simply want a space where you can show up as you are — without judgement or pressure.
What I Don’t Offer
I don’t offer:
Quick fixes or guaranteed outcomes
One-size-fits-all therapy
Directive coaching that tells you how to live your life
Performative positivity or “just think differently” approaches
Work that ignores trauma, context, or relational impact
If you’re looking for someone to push you, fix you, or tell you what to do, this may not be the right space — and that’s okay.
What I Am Committed To
I am deeply committed to:
Ethical, reflective, and compassionate practice
Creating a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship
Working collaboratively and respectfully
Honouring your autonomy, boundaries, and pace
Ongoing professional development and reflective supervision
My role is not to define you or direct you — but to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experience.
A Quiet Confidence in My Lane
This website reflects how I work: grounded, ethical, and human. It isn’t designed to appeal to everyone — it’s designed to speak clearly to those it does resonate with.
If something here feels steady rather than urgent, calm rather than pushy, that may matter.
And if it doesn’t feel right, I respect that too. Finding the right therapeutic relationship is important.
If you think that I might be the right counsellor for you, please feel free to contact me today.
Warm regards
Kathy
