Counselling in Northwich & Online

When life looks fine on the outside but feels heavy on the inside

Lifestyle image representing emotional wellbeing and calm

You might appear to be coping well — working, supporting others, keeping everything going.

But inside you may feel:

• Constantly self-doubting
• Anxious, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted
• Stuck in patterns of overthinking or self-criticism
• Trapped in people-pleasing or perfectionism
• Repeating relationship patterns you wish you could change

You may already have a lot of insight into yourself. Yet despite that awareness, something still feels stuck.

Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin creating meaningful change.

How Counselling Can Help

Through counselling you can begin to:

• understand the patterns shaping your thoughts and reactions
• quieten the inner critic and develop self-trust
• process difficult experiences and emotions
• build healthier boundaries in relationships
• develop practical tools to feel calmer, clearer and more grounded in yourself

Over time many clients notice they feel less reactive, more confident, and more connected to who they truly are.

Is Counselling Right for You?

Many people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware but feel:

• anxious or mentally exhausted
• stuck in cycles of self-criticism
• disconnected from themselves
• unsure of their direction or sense of purpose
• overwhelmed by responsibility or pressure

If this resonates, you’re not alone. Therapy can provide a confidential and supportive space to explore these experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

My Approach

I use an integrative approach to counselling, which means I draw on different therapeutic perspectives depending on what feels most helpful for you. Rather than applying one fixed method, we explore your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and experiences with curiosity and compassion. This deeper understanding helps you move away from patterns that keep you stuck and develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself. My work is trauma-informed and relational, supporting emotional regulation, self-awareness and lasting personal change.

If you're curious about whether this approach is right for you, I invite you to get in touch.
